Beschreibung
Memorial sites and Holocaust museums are important places around the world where people think about the crimes and their consequences. Of particular interest are educational opportunities for young people who are to learn from the past for the present and the future. The role of guides, the mediators, in this process is often overlooked, as well as the consequences of their activities for themselves. The aim of the planned study is to have a close look at tour guides at those places of difficult history.
