Strategic goals:
Promoting the social-emotional and mental health competence of children and adolescents with the involvement of their caregivers by
• Supporting actors in settings where children and adolescents meet in everyday life in coping with psychosocial stress in the context of the Covid 19 pandemic.
• Promoting health equity and strengthening resilience and psychosocial resources of target groups under particular stress.
In order to guarantee a valuable and widespread program, a “Call for Ideas” is sent out to artists, students, and pedagogues. An expert jury is formed, in which all the project partners are represented. This jury chooses the best project proposals, instructs the workshop leaders, and compiles a program. This guarantees a varied range of workshops and art forms that are developed for different age groups under the consideration of the current didactical standards. The differentiation as well as the collaboration of artists, pedagogues, and academics insures a program that is catered to the children’s and young adults’ needs. The impact of these art workshops is constantly checked and their quality assessed. The KinderKunstHochschule should contribute to a sustainable development of children and young adults and enable their creative participation in an innovative and equitable society.
