Beschreibung
Beschreibung (engl.)
SCHLEMEDI: Learning to read and write with digital media:
In connection with the demand for „digital education“, the increased use of digital teaching and learning media is propagated, but also the importance of teaching the basic skills of reading and writing is discussed. The combination of these two areas as „digital-inclusive didactics“ (Narosy 2017), taking account of scientific, subject-didactic and media didactic criteria so far lacking in both scientific and practical discourse, so teachers have no clue in the selection and integration of online exercises. The pilot project SCHLEMEDI (learning to read and write with digital media) wants to close this gap in the area of freely available online exercises for first reading and first writing, by aims to sensitize for quality criteria and to address the integration into a corresponding didactic setting in order to generate didactic added value. For this purpose, quality criteria are developed and formulated on the basis of the comprehensive scientific, didactic and media didactic literature (eg Maik 2017), which are used for the exemplary analysis of freely available online exercises to increase a critical-reflective approach and in a practice-oriented handout with notes to lead to the design of the didactic setting. The aim of the conceptual contribution is to present the planned procedure in the creation of the catalog of criteria and to clarify it on the basis of concrete criteria as well as to present the (possible) design of the manual on the basis of selected exercises.
